Naomi Vernon

Born and raised in Tucson, AZ, where the Saguaros grow as tall as buildings and the desert sky is as vast as time itself, Naomi is a nature girl at heart.

Naomi's music transports her listeners to her home at the base of the mountain, where she spent her youth writing songs and singing into the dry wind. In 2014 Naomi moved to New York City to pursue her dream of telling her story through her songs. Her passion for fingerstyle guitar, along with a love of folk and country music blends into her indie-folk style of songwriting.

SisterMonk

SisterMonk

SisterMonk is a conundrum. Obviously it's a party, but what's the party about? It's funk, it's trance, but without drugs, and its nor quite hipster though that's the crowd right now. It's world music, but not really. It's hippie, earthy crunchy, let's heal ourselves, yay, but not really.
It's not mythic rock like Genesis or Pink Floyd, who flamboyantly retell the stories of their generation.
SisterMonk is something very acoustic -a djembe at the heart of the music, a female lead, could be Women's folk festival material, though who's going to relate to it - the lyrics are written by a man.
So there's that element of surprise. The lyrics are also imagistic. Ultimately, it's about the vibe, and the vibe is big and colorful.

Supersmall (Solo) & Ruby Rae

Supersmall: Colin Dempsey is an Irish singer-songwriter based in New York City who performs under the moniker Supersmall. His music is a blend of artists such as Nick Drake, Crowded House, Elliott Smith, Colin Hay and Frank Turner and has been described as poetic, fun, and folky. He is promoting his latest release "Silent Moon".

Ruby Rae: Ruby Rae writes and performs music that defies easy categorization: a catalogue of influences would include Wanda Jackson, Mazzy Star, and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. Both vibrant and dark, simultaneously catchy and psychological, the sound is cinematic and complex, drawing on diverse sources that include folklore, mythology, horror films, and autobiography. Ruby Rae is promoting her latest release "The Uncanny".

Jamie Thomas Band

Jamie Thomas had his musical epiphany not at the proverbial crossroads but a schoolyard in Astoria, Queens, where the music of Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, The Rolling Stones and others touched his soul and inspired him to play music as well as write songs. He honed his skills as a performer playing New York clubs in a band before striking out on his own, making his bones as a solo act in the ground zero of the American folk movement, Greenwich Village's the Bitter End
